Today I'm interviewing Janiva and Heather, founders of Heartsong Community of Free Learners, a school they started in 2017 for children from 1st grade through high school, located in Heredia, Costa Rica. Janiva and Heather actually first met 25 years ago when Janiva was a child and Heather a college student. Flash forward 25 years and they met again at a Costa Rica retreat where they discovered that they shared a passion for an alternative form of heartfelt and activity based learning for young children.
